Neewer RF1-C Ring Flash

The NEEWER RF1-C is a ring flash designed for macro photography and detailed work. The model is compatible with the Canon E-TTL / E-TTL II system, allowing it to automatically adjust flash settings and making it easier to take photos in varying lighting conditions. With 76Ws of power, a guide number of GN15, and wide light coverage, it helps evenly illuminate the subject, minimizing harsh shadows and vignetting. Its compact design, weighing just 368 g, works well both in the studio and on location.

Precise light for macro photography

The ring flash arrangement ensures even illumination of the subject from various angles, which is particularly useful for photographing insects, plants, jewelry, or in dental photography. The flash supports TTL, manual, and Multi-strobe modes, allowing you to easily adapt your workflow to a specific scene. Power adjustment from 1/1 to 1/128 lets you control the flash intensity, and the ability to set the light ratio between the left and right heads helps achieve a more three-dimensional effect and better control over shadows.

Advanced features and fast performance

The NEEWER RF1-C offers a flash duration ranging from 1/400 s to 1/19300 s and a recycling time of approximately 0.1 to 2.7 seconds. This makes the flash ideal for photographing dynamic subjects and shooting in burst mode. Multi mode allows for up to 100 flashes at a frequency of up to 199 Hz, enabling creative stroboscopic effects. The model also supports front- and rear-curtain sync and works with the CP-E4 external power supply, which can further speed up the unit’s operation.

Convenient operation and AF assist light

The flash is equipped with a backlit LCD screen featuring an intuitive interface that facilitates quick adjustments. Additional autofocus assist lights improve usability in low light and help achieve faster focus during close-up shots. The design consists of a control module mounted on the camera’s hot shoe and a flash ring connected by a coiled cable, ensuring ease of use and flexibility in positioning the equipment.

Wide compatibility and a rich set of accessories

The RF1-C model is compatible with many Canon EOS cameras, including the R, 5D, 6D, 7D, 90D, and 250D series. The kit includes filter adapters with diameters ranging from 49 mm to 77 mm, allowing the flash to be mounted on various lenses. The manufacturer also includes color filters in white, red, green, and yellow, which help achieve more creative effects when shooting. Please note that this model is not compatible with the Canon RP and Canon R50 cameras.
