The pearl appears to float inside a pear-shaped cradle forged from a strip of rich 18ct yellow gold that is elegantly thin when viewed from the front with a wide depth when viewed from the side giving flashes of yellow mirror polished metal. The earrings are light to wear yet are a medium-large size with the pear shape case tapering to a thin 18ct White gold Diamond set bar that is articulated to give the earrings movement. The Akoya Sea Pearls are perfectly round 7mm A grade Japanese cultured pearls with a high lustre and a beautiful soft glow.  These earrings are a one-off hand-made piece with quality disc butterfly backs and natural F.VS diamonds.
