The EC750SA and EC1000SA are programmable AC/DC power sources that generate a regulated, adjustable output from an internal signal source or in response to external, ADD, and external-sync signals. Each model operates in AC and AC+DC modes across a 100 V range and a 200 V range, with selectable sine, square, and arbitrary output waveforms. Output voltage is settable from 0.0 to 155.0 Vrms on the 100 V range and 0.0 to 310.0 Vrms on the 200 V range, and frequency is settable from 1.0 Hz to 550.0 Hz at 0.1 Hz resolution.
A programmable AC/DC power source supplies a controllable, stable voltage and frequency to a device under test, allowing an engineer to reproduce nominal line conditions or deliberately vary voltage, frequency, phase, and waveform. These units support that work directly through their AC and AC+DC output modes, a variable output-on phase from 0.0 to 359.9 degrees, and a built-in sequence function that steps through programmed output conditions automatically.

The EC750SA and EC1000SA make up a two-model AC/DC power-source series built on a common architecture. Both provide AC and AC+DC output modes, a 100 V range and a 200 V range, sine/square/arbitrary waveforms, the same 1.0 Hz to 550.0 Hz frequency setting range, an integrated measurement suite, a sequence function, and USB (USBTMC) and RS-232 remote interfaces.
Because the two share their output-range, waveform, measurement, and control feature set, model selection within the series turns mainly on output power and peak current capability rather than on functional differences. Both models occupy the same chassis footprint of 258 x 176 x 440 mm and weigh approximately 9.7 kg.

The primary difference between the models is rated output power: the EC750SA is rated 750 VA (750 W), while the EC1000SA is rated 1000 VA (1000 W) on the AC 200 V input system, reduced to 750 VA (750 W) on the AC 100 V input system. Maximum peak current also differs, with the EC750SA at 30 Apk/15 Apk and the EC1000SA at 40 Apk/20 Apk across the 100 V and 200 V ranges respectively.
Maximum power consumption follows the output rating at 1.2 kVA or lower for the EC750SA and 1.4 kVA or lower for the EC1000SA, and the EC1000SA additionally ships with a second power cord set (10 A/250 V, without plug).
