Designed by Julien Renault, the Layout Armchair 233 and 234 variants offer a flexible and innovative design with a focus on comfort, functionality and circularity. Characterised by an opening in the backrest, this feature enhances comfort and lends the chair a light, transparent appearance.

Featuring a sleek swivel four-star base that provides stability and ease of movement, the chair has a moulded foam upholstered seat and back for a warm, inviting expression. With sustainability in mind, the chair’s components can be fully disassembled to extend its lifespan and allow refurbishment over time. The shell is crafted as a single piece with integrated armrests, enhancing durability and offering versatile support.

Made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic, the shell is available in a variety of colours and can be paired with a range of upholstered seat options. Crafted from semi-gloss black powder-coated or polished aluminium, the base provides strength and balance, highlighting the shell’s elegant expression and offering reliable performance over time. With its clean, minimal design, the Layout Armchair is suitable for use from dining to office settings, in both home and public spaces.
