Inspired by the traditional sancai or tri-colored glaze technique, where colors often mix together, the classical silhouette of the Pheasant Feather lamp is now available in a smaller size, adding a graceful, subdued ambiance to any side table or bedsides. The lamp’s ceramic vase is hand-painted in warm brown tones before a final glazing and firing to produce this stunning all-over pattern. It is then set on a hand-carved wooden gilded wedding band base.

The unpredictable nature of sancai glazes ensures that while the overall effect can be consistent, no two pieces are exactly the same. This is an ethos that we embrace by working with artisans who still practice traditional glazing techniques.
